If we were to sum up Blix Bikes in a single word, we would go with “diverse.” Each of the six e-bikes in their lineup fits into a neat category, defining both its appeal and its abilities. Where with some e-bike makers deciding between two models with similar appeal might be difficult, anyone looking at Blix won’t struggle to decide.
The Blix lineup covers a few of the standard offerings we usually see from e-bike makers, including a commuter, a cruiser, a folding e-bike and an all-terrain model. They also offer both a cargo e-bike and a utility e-bike. They cover more needs in six e-bikes than most companies can in twice that.
What their e-bikes share in common is pricing that falls between $1899 and $2099—though sales can see the pricing dip below that. They also all feature hub motors rated at either 500W or 750W.
The Santa Cruz-based company says in its mission statement that they make “compelling electric bikes with the ultimate goal to inspire and empower people to live a more fun and healthier life.”
Riders looking for a direct-to-consumer brand that is well-supported will find Blix worth considering. They offer in-home assembly as well as the option to purchase an extended warranty.
